Turbulence-controlled centrifugal mixer using non-wetting surfaces
A method of controlling secondary flows in Taylor-Couette (TC) flow using inhomogeneous boundary conditions, where non-wetting (hydrophobic) surfaces are used to control the secondary flows, and enhance the performance of centrifugal mixers, utilizing patterning of the solid boundaries of the mixer.
