System and Methods for Estimating Sympathetic Arousal and Energy Production from Skin Conductance and Blood Cortisol Measurements
Skin conductance-based sympathetic sensors that can be embeded in wear technology that can measure the arousal cotisol levels in the blood for a more acturate reading. The sensor is able to estimate internal brain-related/neural states from the data that is collected from unobserved internal states related to pulsatile hormone secretions. Applications include monitoring patients diagnosed with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
